A large number of those physicians are Arabic-speaking and Muslim. They hold a German, Austrian or Dutch specialty certificate, they were raised between two cultures, and the Gulf is not a foreign posting to them — it is a place where their profession, their language and their faith fit in the same day.

That combination is the narrowest and most valuable pool in this market, and almost nobody recruits into it deliberately. Agencies in the Gulf recruit volume from Asia. Agencies in Europe recruit into Switzerland. The bridge in between is empty.

Serving where it matters most

Vorsprung People is a Muslim-led healthcare search firm. We bring highly trained physicians to the Muslim world: to the two Holy Cities, to the Gulf and to the wider Muslim lands, where their skills are needed most.

Makkah and Madinah care for millions of pilgrims every year on top of their own population. Their two health clusters run 32 hospitals with more than 6,200 beds. We see staffing these hospitals as an amanah, a trust, not as a market. Posts in Makkah are open only to Muslims under Saudi law, and that is exactly the pool we specialise in.

Hospitals across the Gulf are opening faster than they can be staffed. We close that gap with European board-certified consultants who speak Arabic and understand their patients in their own language and culture.

Many Muslim physicians in Germany, Austria and across Europe want their work to serve the Ummah and to raise their children in a Muslim environment. We help them make that move properly: the right post, the right licence, their family's future thought through, at no cost to them.

The employer pays our fee; a doctor never pays. We hold no documents and present nobody without written consent. Our fee is 20% of first-year basic salary.

Part of every fee is given as sadaqah, on top of the zakat we owe: to families who have lost someone, to patients who cannot pay for treatment or medication, children first, and to people who cannot afford Hajj or Umrah. We give through registered charities and send the hospital the receipt.

• We do not invent references, client logos or testimonials, and we name clients only with their permission.
• We do not charge candidates. The employer pays — in Germany that is law, and we apply it in every market.
• We do not hold documents, and we do not present anybody without their written release.
• We do not recruit nurses from countries where ethical-recruitment restrictions apply.

A firm that a consultant in Hamburg and a medical director in Abu Dhabi both trust for the same reason: that what we told them was accurate, including the parts that were inconvenient.
