Healthcare Functions — Finance
Hospital finance is not corporate finance.
A hospital earns money in a way no other business does: through coding, claims, payer contracts and the gap between what was delivered and what will be reimbursed. A finance leader who has never sat in that gap is a slow hire.
Roles we cover
- Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director, hospital and group level.
- Revenue cycle leadership — coding, claims, denial management, collections.
- Payer contracting and insurance relationship management.
- Controlling, budgeting and service-line profitability.
- Finance for new-build and commissioning projects.
What we screen for
Demonstrated ownership of clinical revenue rather than general corporate accounting. Experience with the reimbursement model of the destination market, or a clear reason why it transfers. And the ability to sit in a room with clinical leadership without being dismissed — which is a character question as much as a technical one.
We do not present a finance leader from an unrelated industry with a hospital sticker on the CV.
