Your certificate already has a rank in the Gulf.
Under the unified Professional Qualification Requirements of the UAE, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg and France sit in Tier 1 — the highest category, alongside the United States and the United Kingdom. That single fact decides whether you enter as a Specialist or as a Consultant, and most physicians discover it far too late.
A Tier 1 specialty certificate is recognised in the Emirates with no waiting period at Specialist level, and at Consultant level after two years following the main specialty qualification. There is no equivalency examination and no downgrade of your training. What applies to you is the same table your future employer works from.
The German entry carries one clause that holds files up: the specialty certificate is recognised with the Oberarzt title. The Facharzturkunde alone is not enough for non-nationals. A written confirmation of the senior post from your employer belongs in the file from the start.
- We represent you to hospitals. Your name, your employer and your documents go nowhere without your explicit release, every single time.
- We assess your file against the destination regulator before anything is presented, so a shortlist is a list of people who can actually start.
- We negotiate the package: base, housing, schooling per child, flights, mobilisation, notice and the end-of-service benefit.
- We do not charge you. Not a fee, not an administration charge, not a deposit. The employer pays, and that is a legal principle in Germany, not a courtesy.
The three markets we work are the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. They differ more than they look: the same certificate produces a different grade, a different salary band and a different verification route in each. The country pages set out what your file is worth in each of them.
For department heads and cath-lab or theatre leads, the realistic entry is often not a post at all but a paid visiting or proctoring arrangement — a few days, no relocation, no risk on either side. A surprising number of permanent conversations begin there. If you lead a service in Europe and are curious rather than committed, that is usually the honest first step.
Discuss a physician search.
Tell us the specialty, the licence class and the date the post has to be covered. We will tell you in the first week whether the market supports it.
